Print on demand · UK
Print on demand for your brand.
Personalise products when you need them: from a single unit to a merchandise campaign for the whole team. Zintora offers individual print-on-demand orders and batch production for businesses.
What is print on demand?
Print on demand means personalising a product after the order is received. It lets you start with a few units, test a design and restock according to demand, without buying a whole collection in advance. For a brand, a small team or a one-off gift, the starting point is the product and how it will be used.
Availability per unit depends on the product and the personalisation technique. For products with direct purchase, you can check the price and complete payment. To combine products, organise a campaign or confirm a finish, request a quote. Not every item in the catalogue has the same terms.
Print on demand or batch production?
Quantity matters, but so do the number of designs, where the deliveries are going and the date you need them by. Compare the total cost of your project, not just the price of the product.
| What to compare | On demand | Batch |
|---|---|---|
| Quantity | Suited to a single unit, tests and small restocks on compatible products. | Suited to equipping a team or preparing a campaign with known quantities. |
| Cost | Reduces upfront stock. Check the product price, the personalisation and each delivery. | Can reduce the cost per unit by spreading the set-up across more items. |
| Design | Lets you test proposals before deciding which design to keep. | Makes it easier to have a common finish across a campaign; confirm the technique and colours. |
| Distribution | Say whether you need individual deliveries and check their terms. | Decide whether delivery will be to one address or split across several, and ask for it to be included in the quote. |
| Timing | The item has to be produced after the order; on demand does not mean instant delivery. | The date depends on availability, design approval, production and delivery. |
How to prepare your order.
Choose the product for its use
For clothing, check the composition, sizing and print area. For a desk gift, look at the material, surface and care. See our personalised t-shirts if you need to compare textile options.
Prepare the personalisation file
Supply the logo or design on a transparent background where appropriate. A vector file lets you adjust the size without losing definition; if you use an image, confirm the resolution at the actual print size. Avoid using a screenshot as the original.
Confirm the technique, size and placement
Not every technique works the same way on every material. State the size of the design, its position and the colours you need. If the project needs a sample or proof, check availability and cost before approving production.
Buy now or request a quote
Use Buy-now when the product allows it and the terms suit your order. For a campaign with several products or delivery requirements, send a quote request with the full details. A quote request does not start a payment.
A brief that avoids last-minute changes.
Copy these points when preparing your request. If a condition has not been decided yet, say so and we can compare alternatives.
- Product or intended use, and quantity per design.
- Sizes and colours, where relevant.
- Logo file and approximate size of the personalisation.
- Delivery destination or destinations, and the date you need them by.
- Total budget, allowing for personalisation and delivery.
Questions about print on demand.
Can I order just one unit?
Yes, Zintora offers individual print-on-demand orders on compatible products. Check the purchase options on the product page or ask about the model you need; the minimums for corporate batch orders can be different.
Is print on demand the same as dropshipping?
No. Print on demand describes when the product is personalised. Dropshipping describes who prepares and sends an order to the end customer. If you need deliveries to your own customers, give us the details of the project so we can confirm the process, packaging and terms.
How much does a personalised product cost?
It depends on the product, the technique, the quantity and the delivery. Direct purchase shows the price of the products that offer that option. For a bespoke project, request a quote that itemises what is included.
Which option suits corporate gifts?
If you already know the quantity and will repeat the same design, compare a batch with individual orders. For tests or one-off new starters, on-demand production can be useful. Also weigh up packaging, sizes and distribution.
Can I connect my store automatically?
If you need to connect a store or automate orders, talk to us before planning the launch. Whether an integration is available, the data it exchanges and its costs must be confirmed for your project.
