When to order Christmas corporate gifts.

Work back from the day the gifts must be in people's hands. Standard production is 10 to 20 working days after you approve the digital proof, and 10 to 15 working days for welcome-kit style packs such as Welcome Kit Pro and the Day One Essentials Kit. Transit comes on top and is confirmed in your quote.

The table plans for delivery by Friday, 18 December 2026, the last working day before the Christmas week. It takes the top of each production range and adds the transit buffer we suggest planning with for each destination. These are planning dates, not guaranteed deadlines.

Gifts to staff: trivial benefits

HMRC treats a small gift to an employee as a trivial benefit, with no tax or National Insurance to pay and nothing to report, when all of these apply: it costs £50 or less to provide, it is not cash or a cash voucher, it is not a reward for work or performance, and it is not part of the employee's contract. If a gift costs more than £50, the whole amount is taxable, not just the part above £50. Directors of close companies can receive trivial benefits worth up to £300 in total per tax year.

HMRC looks at the cost including VAT. Our prices are shown ex VAT and before personalisation and delivery, so compare the full cost per person with the £50 limit.

Gifts to clients: business gifts

Gifts to clients are generally not deductible for income tax or corporation tax. The exception is a gift that carries a conspicuous advertisement for your business on the gift itself (not only on the wrapping), is not food, drink, tobacco or a voucher exchangeable for goods, and costs no more than £50 per recipient in total over the year (the accounting period). A branded journal or engraved pen can fit that description; a food gift such as a snack box does not.

Many UK companies have colleagues in Dublin, Lisbon, Singapore or New York, and a Christmas gift that only reaches the London office misses them. We deliver across the UK and to Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas: to one office, to several offices, or to each person's home, so the whole team receives the same gift.

For individual shipments, collect each person's address, phone number and, for clothing, their size in one sheet before you request the quote. For recipients whose size you do not know, choose items without sizes, such as a bottle, mug, journal or power bank.

Delivery to each destination is priced separately in the quote. For UK addresses our prices are ex VAT and UK import VAT and duties are paid on delivery. Plan non-UK destinations with the longer buffers in the order-by table.

Packaging and presentation.

You can choose between two presentation options: a printed kraft box or a rigid gift box. Either can hold a personalised card. The Printed Kraft Box is in the catalogue from £2.86 ex VAT, minimum 50 units.

For a client gift, the rigid box and a signed card do more for the impression than adding another item. For a large staff gift, the printed kraft box is the simpler option.

Sustainability, with documentation.

Each quote includes an estimated carbon footprint per product, and we prepare sustainability reports with Scope 3 data for the merchandise you buy. Certified products come with their certificates on request; the certificate we publish is the GRS certificate of our yarn supplier The Tenth House, which you can see on our trust page.

We do not buy carbon credits and we do not describe any product as carbon neutral. A gift that is used for years is usually the lower-impact choice, which is one more reason to pick useful items.
