Sustainability
Sustainability materials and criteria
Impact data, not slogans.
Every quote states an estimated carbon footprint per product. For the merchandise you buy from us, we prepare a sustainability report with Scope 3 emissions data. We offer certified products and send you the certificates on request. We do not buy carbon credits or offset emissions.
Estimated footprint and Scope 3 reports
For your reporting you do not need generic promises, you need data on what you buy. This is what we provide on every project:
- Estimated carbon footprint per product, included in the quote
- Sustainability report with Scope 3 emissions data for the merchandise purchased
- Certified products available; supplier certificates on request
- No carbon credits and no emissions offsetting
- Packaging options depending on the product, such as a printed kraft box or a rigid gift box; materials are listed in the quote
- Delivery to EMEA, APAC and the Americas; standard production of 10 to 20 working days after proof approval, confirmed in the quote
Scope 3
emissions data for the merchandise you buy from us
Included in the sustainability report we send you. They are estimates and are labelled as such.
Certifications
The certificates belong to the suppliers, not to Zintora. We prioritise suppliers that can provide certifications such as GRS, GOTS or OEKO-TEX and ask them for the current certificate. The quote states which products are certified.
GRS 4.0
Global Recycled Standard
Certificate held by our yarn supplier The Tenth House, not by Zintora. It covers yarns made with post-consumer recycled cotton and polyester. We check for each batch that it is covered by the certificate and send it to you on request.
Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS
Standard for textiles made with organic fibres. If a product is offered with GOTS, we ask the supplier for the current certificate and send it to you on request.
OEKO-TEX
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
Label showing that a textile has been tested for harmful substances. If a product is offered with OEKO-TEX, we ask the supplier for the current certificate and send it to you on request.
Need the certification documents for your ESG reporting? Request the documents and we will send them to you directly.
Material options
Part of the catalogue is available in recycled, organic or bio-based materials. The exact composition of each product is listed on its product page or in the quote, together with the certificate where there is one.
Recycled PET
Recycled polyester in certain textile products and accessories. The percentage of recycled content is stated on the product page or in the quote.
Organic cotton
Available in certain cotton products. When we present it as certified (for example GOTS), we send you the supplier's current certificate on request.
Bamboo
Used in some accessories in the catalogue. The product page says whether it is solid bamboo or a composite material.
Bio-based materials
Some products include bio-based materials. The percentage and the origin of the material are stated on the product page or in the quote.
What goes into the catalogue
Not every product that exists ends up in ours. Before anything enters the Zintora catalogue, our team samples it and assesses it in person.
The question we ask ourselves: would we keep it ourselves, or would it end up in a drawer and, in time, in the bin?
If the honest answer is the second, it does not go in. A product that is used for years gets far more out of its materials than one that is thrown away with a recycling label on it.
Durability first
A product used for three years spreads its footprint over many more uses than one used for three months. We put build quality ahead of low unit cost.
Material transparency
We tell you what a product is made of (fabric weight, fibre composition, the supplier's certificate if there is one) and its estimated carbon footprint in the quote, so you can decide with data.
No greenwashing
We do not use generic labels such as 'eco' and we do not buy carbon credits. The estimated footprint, the Scope 3 report and the supplier certificates we cite are sent to you on request.
