Corporate gifts for clients: how to choose them, with ideas by budget

How to choose corporate gifts for clients by occasion and budget, with real catalogue ideas, presentation options, lead times and a request ready to be quoted.

Corporate gifts for clients work when they fit the routine of the person receiving them and the relationship with your company. Before choosing a product, define who it is for, why you are giving it, how much you want to invest and how it will arrive. A small, well-explained selection works better than an endless list of objects.

This guide helps you choose by occasion, compare ideas by budget with real catalogue products and prepare a request that can be quoted without back and forth. Each product page shows its "from" price and minimum; personalisation and delivery are quoted separately.

Start with the occasion and the recipient

Welcoming a new client, closing a project and a trade show do not have the same needs. For a welcome, think of something that accompanies everyday work; for a trade show, of carrying it away; for a thank-you, of careful presentation. Also check the recipient's gift policy before preparing a proposal. Do not assume that all companies accept the same kind of present.

These are suggested combinations, not fixed packs or past client cases.

Compare products you can explain

For the office, evaluate the Cobble mug and the Forma notebook. You can compare sizes and finishes in our selection of printed mugs. Confirm the care of the chosen finish, especially if the recipient uses a shared dishwasher.

For a handover at an event, the Everyday tote bag can hold the documents the visitor needs to take away. The Everyday keyring is a compact option: agree the material, dimensions and logo legibility before producing. See our branded keyrings page to prepare your request.

If the intended use involves travel, compare the Atlas steel bottle with other branded water bottles. Do not assume leak-proofing or hours of insulation without the specifications of the variant. A useful gift does not need attributes the product cannot demonstrate.

Corporate gift ideas for clients by budget

The budget per recipient shapes the type of gift more than any other decision. These references from the Zintora catalogue help order the ideas; the "from" price on each product page is per unit, before personalisation, and each page shows its own minimum.

Lower budget: a useful small gesture

For a thank-you to many contacts, choose something used every day. The Arc metal pen is personalised by laser engraving and its product page also lists printing on a gift tube, which solves the presentation without a separate box.

Mid-range: a gift for the desk

A hardback notebook stays in view all year. The Ledger hardcover journal is an A5 linen-bound journal with foil stamping; its product page states that the paper certificate is available on request.

Higher budget: a gift for key clients

For a few recipients, it pays to choose a piece with more presence or to combine two items in a box. The Voyage travel mug is a 400 ml leak-resistant mug with a flip lid, personalisable by laser engraving or UV printing. You can also start from a ready-made pack: look at the executive client gift box and the rest of our gift packs.

Set the full budget, not just the product

Set a total budget and the number of recipients. Then ask for the proposal to separate product, logo preparation, personalisation, packaging, delivery and taxes. The catalogue amounts are starting points; items with prices on request need a proposal. A box and several shipments can change the comparison between two similarly priced options.

For a selection by recipient, note exactly what each shipment contains. Do not add up starting prices as if they were the total for a gift that is already personalised and prepared.

Decide where the logo goes

A discreet logo may suit a gift for daily use better; an event may call for more visibility. Ask for a proof with the real position, colours and dimensions. Do not use a mock-up as proof of the texture, durability or quality of the physical product. Ask for a sample if those aspects condition your decision.

A personalised note can express thanks without overloading the product with text. If you use different names, check the file and confirm that the technique accepts variable data.

Choose the presentation

The box is part of the gift, especially if it arrives by courier. Zintora offers two presentation options: a printed kraft box or a rigid gift box. Decide the packaging once you know the contents, because the dimensions and protection depend on what goes inside, and add the personal note in the same shipment.

Client gifts with a sustainability angle

If your clients or your own company have sustainability goals, ask for data, not labels. Every Zintora quote states the estimated carbon footprint of each product, and for certified products the certificates are available on request. Avoid describing a gift as "sustainable" or "environmentally friendly" if you cannot demonstrate it. Our sustainability page explains the documents we can provide.

Organise delivery before fixing the selection

State the date of receipt needed, the postcode and the number of addresses. Separate production from transport: as a guide, production is 10 to 20 working days after you approve the design proof, confirmed in the quote, and transport is added separately. Zintora delivers across EMEA, APAC and the Americas. Find out how the artwork will be approved and by what date it must be settled so you can check that the schedule is feasible. For recipients who change office or work remotely, confirm the channel and the minimum delivery details before sharing them.

Compare categories by how the client will use them

For an office, compare branded notebooks and printed mugs. For an event where recipients are on the move, look instead at the format of branded keyrings and printed tote bags. The category pages let you check the models and their minimums before you settle on a product. Also assess bulk, packaging and how useful the gift is; a compact object is not necessarily right for every client.

Your request in six points

  • Occasion and recipient profile.
  • Number of gifts and total budget.
  • Preferred products and acceptable alternatives.
  • Logo, colours, position and the text of the note.
  • Packaging and delivery addresses.
  • Date needed and whether you need a sample.

See our selection of corporate gifts, look at how we organise gifts for clients, compare the catalogue and prepare a quote request. Zintora confirms the products, availability, price and schedule in the proposal. Frequently asked questions about client gifts

What should I give a business client?

Something that fits their routine: a mug or a notebook for the desk, a bottle for someone who travels or a box with two or three items for a key client. Check their gift policy first.

How much should I spend on a client gift?

It depends on the relationship and the number of recipients. As a catalogue reference, there are ideas at a low cost per unit before personalisation; for key clients, compare higher-priced pieces or a ready-made pack.

What is the minimum order?

Each product states its minimum on its page. For single units, print on demand works on compatible products: see print on demand.

How long does a client gift order take?

As a guide, 10 to 20 working days after you approve the design proof, confirmed in the quote, plus transport to each destination.

Can you send the gifts to each client?

Yes. State the number of addresses and the countries in the request. Zintora delivers across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
