Personalised Work Uniforms: Polos, Caps and Kitchen Wear With Your Logo
Personalised work uniforms by role: polos for customer-facing staff, kitchen caps, caps and hoodies for events, embroidery or print, size lists and how to reorder the same kit later.
By Zintora Team

Personalised work uniforms are the garments your team wears every shift, carrying your logo so customers know who works there. For most businesses that means a polo for customer-facing staff, a cap or kitchen cap where the role needs one and a hoodie for cold mornings or events. Choose by role, then embroidery or print, then sizes.
This guide is for operations, HR and office managers who need a consistent uniform for hospitality, retail, reception or event teams. If you are looking at a wider range of work clothing, our branded workwear page lists the full range, and the branded workwear guide covers work clothing in general.
What makes a good work uniform?
A uniform is not a one-off gift. It is worn for long shifts, washed often and reordered whenever someone new joins. That changes what you should look for:
- Durability. The fabric has to survive frequent washing without losing its shape or colour.
- Comfort. Staff on their feet all day will not wear a garment that pulls or overheats.
- Consistency. Every person on the team should look the same, and a reorder in six months should match the first batch.
- Fit for the role. A kitchen, a bar and a reception desk need different pieces.
We do not supply safety or high-visibility clothing, so this guide covers uniforms for customer-facing and operational teams only.
Which garment suits which role?
Every product below is in our catalogue. The details come from each product page; composition, sizes and availability are confirmed for your batch in the quote.
| Role | Product | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Hospitality, retail and operations | Work Polo | Hard-wearing 200 g/m² unisex polo for operational teams |
| Reception and customer service | Premium Polo | Premium-finish polo for branded uniforms and customer service |
| Office and client-facing teams | Corporate Polo | Clean lines for a uniform, professional image |
| Kitchen and catering | Kitchen Cap | Lightweight kitchen cap for hospitality and catering teams |
| Outdoor and events | Classic Cap | Cotton cap with an adjustable closure and a curved peak |
| Cold shifts and events | Premium Zip Hoodie | Full-zip hoodie for teams and corporate collections |

According to its product page, the Work Polo uses pre-shrunk fabric, comes in eight corporate colours and in indicative sizes from XS to 3XL, so one model can cover a whole workforce. If your front-of-house team needs a smarter look, the Premium Polo is the step up. Our custom polo shirts page compares every polo in the range.
Embroidery or print?
The polo and hoodie product pages list three methods: screen printing, DTG printing and embroidery. The caps list embroidery and transfer.
- Embroidery is the usual choice for a uniform. A small logo on the chest or the front of a cap looks neat and lasts as long as the garment.
- Screen printing suits larger text, such as a department name or a website address across the back.
- DTG printing handles designs with many colours or fine detail.
- Transfer is an option on caps when an embroidered version would lose detail.
Many teams combine the two: an embroidered logo on the chest for everyday wear and a printed back for events. You approve the technique, position, size and colour on a digital proof before production starts, and nothing is produced until you approve it. Send your logo as a vector file (PDF, SVG or EPS). Our guide to embroidered t shirts explains when stitching beats print in more detail.
Sizing a team
Sizing is where uniform orders go wrong most often. A polo that does not fit stays in a locker. To avoid that:
- Collect a size list per person, with their role, before you request a quote.
- Add a small reserve for new starters and replacements.
- Fix one colour per role, for example black for the bar and a lighter colour for reception.
- Record the model and colour you order, so you can repeat it exactly.
Every product page shows its own minimum; for the Work Polo it is 25 pieces. If your team is smaller, mix roles or add a hoodie or cap to reach the minimum for one model.
Reordering through the year
Staff turnover means a uniform is never ordered just once. Keep the product reference, the colour and the approved proof on file. When you need more, quote those details in your request and the new batch will match the old one.
If you take on seasonal staff, order their uniforms well before the season starts. Extra caps and T-shirts are a practical way to kit out temporary staff without ordering a full set of polos. Our branded caps and custom t-shirts pages show the other options.
Pricing and lead times
Pricing for your design and quantity is confirmed in your quote, ex VAT; printing and delivery are extra, UK import VAT and duties are paid on delivery. Every product page shows its own minimum.
Production takes 10 to 20 working days after proof approval, confirmed in the quote. Add time for the quote, the digital proof and delivery. If the uniforms are needed for an opening or the start of a season, count back from that date. Zintora delivers across the UK and internationally to Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, to one address or to each site.
Sustainability
The most sustainable uniform is one that lasts. Choose a hard-wearing polo that stands up to frequent washing, and order what you need plus a small reserve rather than a large surplus. If your company reports on purchasing, ask with the quote for material details and an estimated carbon footprint per product. The only certificate we name is the GRS of The Tenth House, checked per lot; certificates for other products are available on request.
