Client Gift Packs: Ready-Made Branded Sets by Client Tier
Client gift packs for existing clients: which ready-made branded sets suit key accounts, the wider list and prospects, how to brand them quietly, and how to plan cards, addresses and timing.
By Zintora Team

Client gift packs are ready-made sets of branded items, such as a notebook, pen and bottle, sent to existing clients to say thank you, mark a renewal or close the year. The best ones match the pack to the relationship, carry your logo quietly, arrive with a personal card and are planned around a clear date.
This guide is about clients you already work with. If you are preparing a pack for a client who has just signed, our guide to client welcome packs covers onboarding. For ready-made packs in general, for staff as well as clients, see our guide to corporate gift packs. Every pack named below is live in the Zintora catalogue, quote-only, with the minimum, branding and timing confirmed in the quote.
What a client gift pack is, and when it beats a single gift
A client gift pack is two or more coordinated items presented together, usually in one box, with your branding and a message. It sits between a single branded item and a fully custom box built from scratch.
A pack is usually the better choice when:
- The list is long and every client should receive something consistent, from the key account to the smaller customer.
- You want presentation without a design project. The items, layout and box are already worked out, so you approve the branding and the card, not every component.
- The date is fixed, such as a year-end send or a contract renewal, and you cannot spend weeks choosing products.
- Several people sign off, because a defined pack is easier to approve than a list of separate items.
A single gift still works for a quick thank-you to one contact. A custom box makes sense when you want unusual contents or a box designed around a campaign; our branded gift boxes page shows those options.
Client gift packs by relationship tier
Most companies do not send the same thing to every client. Grouping the list into tiers keeps the spend in proportion to the relationship and stops the pack from looking generic. The table below maps each tier to an occasion and a type of pack.
| Tier | Typical recipients | Occasions | Pack type that fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Key accounts | Decision makers, long-standing partners | Renewal, year-end, project completion | Larger desk and drinks pack or a boxed executive set |
| Wider client list | Day-to-day contacts, smaller accounts | Year-end, thank-you after a busy period | Notebook, pen and tumbler pack |
| Prospects and lapsed clients | Contacts you want to re-engage | After a meeting, at a restart | Small pen and keyring or card holder duo |
| Project teams at the client | The people who did the work | Launch, go-live, milestone | Everyday pack with bottle and tumbler, one per person |
Two points make the tiers work in practice. First, keep the branding identical across tiers so every client recognises the sender. Second, decide the tiers before you collect addresses, because the tier sets the pack, and the pack sets the box size and the delivery plan.
Ready-made client gift packs from the catalogue
These packs are all live on zintora.uk. The contents below are those stated on each product page; colours, branding and the minimum order are confirmed in the quote.
For key accounts
- Complete desk and drinks pack. An A5 notebook, pen, metal keyring, card holder, steel bottle, ceramic mug and phone stand. It is the fullest pack in the range and suits a renewal or a year-end thank-you to your most important contacts.
- Five-piece all-in-one pack. An A5 notebook, pen, metal keyring, steel bottle and thermal tumbler. A balanced pack for a partner who travels or splits time between home and office.
- Red Executive Gift Set. A matching notebook, pen, keyring and bottle in a presentation box with a fitted interior. Useful when presentation matters as much as the contents.
- Black & Cork Gift Set. A notebook, pen and bottle in a coordinated box with black, cork and wood finishes. A calmer, natural look for clients who prefer understated gifts.

For the wider client list
- Notebook, pen and thermal tumbler pack. A blue A5 notebook, pen and thermal tumbler, also offered in orange. It covers the desk and the morning coffee in one pack.
- Writing and thermal tumbler pack. An A5 notebook, pen and thermal tumbler in black or white, for a neutral pack that suits most brands.
- Elegant notebook and pen pack. A black A5 notebook and metal pen. A classic writing set that fits easily on any desk.

For prospects and lighter touches
- Executive pen and keyring duo. A click pen and metal keyring, in red or black. Small enough to send after a meeting without seeming excessive.
- Office card holder and pen pack. A card holder and metal pen, a practical pairing for people who still exchange business cards at events.
- Umbrella and bottle duo. A compact umbrella and steel bottle, a useful choice for an autumn or winter send in the UK.

For project teams at the client
- Everyday pack with bottle and thermal tumbler. An A5 notebook, pen, metal keyring, steel bottle and thermal tumbler. Send one to each person on the client team after a launch.

All packs are on our packs page alongside the rest of the range. We do not supply food or drink, so these packs stay useful long after the season.
Branding client gift packs without overdoing it
A client pack is a thank-you first and a marketing piece second. Clients notice when a gift feels like an advert, so most companies keep the branding restrained:
- One logo, small and consistent. A tone-on-tone or single-colour mark on the notebook cover and pen is usually enough. The bottle and tumbler can carry the same small mark.
- Brand the box and the card instead. A printed box or sleeve lets the items themselves look like something the client would buy for themselves.
- Avoid slogans on items. Keep messages for the card, where they read as personal.
- Think about the client's own brand. Some clients prefer not to display a supplier's logo on their desk. For key accounts, a very discreet mark or branding only on the packaging is a sensible default.
Before production you receive a digital proof of every item and the box, so you can check the logo size, colour and position on each component. Nothing is produced until you approve it.
The card, the timing and the address list
The items carry the brand; the card carries the relationship. A handwritten-style message signed by the account manager is often what the client remembers. Mention the reason for the gift: the renewal, the project, the year you have worked together.
Timing
Plan backwards from the date the pack should arrive. Allow time to agree the tiers, approve the digital proof and then for production, which is 10 to 20 working days after proof approval, confirmed in the quote. Delivery is planned on top of that. For a year-end send, start in October or early November; our Christmas corporate gifts page sets out the ordering steps for the season.
Good moments outside Christmas include contract renewals, the anniversary of the first project, a successful launch and the end of a financial year.
Collecting addresses
Many contacts now split their week between home and office, so confirm where each pack should go rather than assuming the office address. Ask account managers to confirm the contact, the address and any delivery notes in one shared list, and mark which tier each client belongs to. We deliver to offices and homes across the UK and internationally; state the countries and the number of addresses in your request and the quote confirms delivery and any customs formalities for each shipment.
Client gift packs and HMRC
Gifts to clients have their own tax treatment in the UK. HMRC sets out how business gifts and entertaining are treated, including when a gift can be deducted and what it must carry, in its guidance on business entertainment and gifts. Branded items are a common feature of deductible business gifts, but the rules have conditions, so check your own case with your accountant before you set the budget per tier.
Our quotes show prices ex VAT, so you can compare tiers on the same basis.

Frequently asked questions
What should go in a client gift pack?
Useful items the client will keep on the desk or carry every day: a notebook and pen, a bottle or thermal tumbler, a keyring or card holder. Match the size of the pack to the relationship, and add a personal card.
Should client gift packs carry our logo?
Usually yes, but quietly. A small, single-colour logo on one or two items, or branding only on the box and card, works better with clients than large prints.
How many client gift packs do I need to order?
The minimum order depends on the pack and is confirmed in the quote. If your tiers need different packs, list the quantity for each in your request.
Can you send client gift packs to different addresses?
Yes. We deliver to offices and homes across the UK and internationally. Send the list of countries and the number of addresses with your request and the quote confirms delivery for each shipment.
Can I see the pack before it is produced?
Yes. You approve a digital proof of every item, the box and the card before production starts.
