Bulk corporate gifts are branded items ordered in volume for a whole team, a client list or an event, with one design, one proof and one production run. Each product has its own minimum, from 25 T-shirts to 250 pens, and the quote shows the price for your exact quantity, branding and delivery addresses.

This guide explains how to plan a volume order: choosing products that work at scale, how minimums and mixed sizes work, whether to deliver to one address or to each person, and how to time it. Every product and starting price below comes from the live Zintora catalogue on 28 October 2026.

What counts as a bulk order

There is no single number. For a pen, a bulk order might be a few hundred units for a trade fair season. For a hoodie, it might be 60 units for a whole company. What makes an order "bulk" is that one design is produced in one run and sent out together, rather than gifts being bought one at a time.

That brings three advantages:

  • One approval. You approve a single digital proof for each product, and every unit matches it.
  • A consistent brand. Everyone receives the same item, in the same colours, with the logo in the same place.
  • Less admin. One quote, one order and one delivery plan, instead of dozens of small purchases.

Minimums: how they work

Every product page shows its own minimum order. Minimums depend on the product and how it is made, so they vary across the catalogue. A few examples from active products:

Prices are starting prices ex VAT; printing and delivery are extra, UK import VAT and duties are paid on delivery. For the pen, keyring, sticky notes and sports bottle, the product page describes the starting price as an indicative price per unit for a basic, undecorated configuration, and the material, format and marking area are agreed before production.

Two points matter when you plan:

  • The minimum applies per product. If you order three different items, each one needs to reach its own minimum.
  • The price depends on the quantity. We do not publish fixed price breaks. The quote shows the unit and total price for the quantity you ask for, so it is worth asking for two or three quantities in one request if you are unsure.

Choosing products that work at scale

An item that is perfect for ten senior clients may not work for 400 staff. When you order bulk corporate gifts, look for products that are:

  • Useful to almost everyone. A mug, a bottle, a tote bag or a T-shirt suits most people. A niche gadget does not.
  • Easy to size, or size-free. Mugs, bottles and bags have no sizes. Clothing needs a size list (see below).
  • Robust in transit. Ceramic is fragile, so ask about individual packaging if mugs are sent to separate addresses.
  • Simple to brand. A one or two-colour logo in a clear position keeps the proof quick and the result consistent.

For a wider view of gifts that suit large teams, see our guide to corporate gifts for employees. If your budget per person is small, our guide to business promotional items for small firms covers low-cost options.

Mixing sizes and colours in one order

Clothing is the part of a bulk order that needs the most preparation. The Core Cotton T-Shirt is a good example: it comes in sizes XS to 3XL and in white, black, forest green, sand and navy blue, and its minimum of 25 units can be mixed across sizes and colours.

To get the sizes right:

  1. Collect sizes from each person with a short form, or use a size split based on your own past orders.
  2. Add a few spare units in the most common sizes for new joiners and swaps.
  3. Keep one colour per role or team if you want people to be recognisable at an event.

More T-shirt options are on the custom T-shirts page.

One delivery or one per recipient

A bulk order can go to a single address or be split:

  • One address. Best for an office, an event venue or a team that will hand items out in person. Check that someone can receive the delivery and that there is room for the boxes.
  • One per recipient. Best for remote and hybrid teams or a client list. You send us the list of names and addresses, and each person receives their gift directly.
  • One per site. For companies with several offices, items can be sent to each site in the right quantities.

Zintora delivers across the UK and internationally to Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, so a mixed list of UK and overseas addresses can be handled in one order. The quote confirms the delivery cost for each destination.

Packaging for bulk corporate gifts

If the gift goes straight to a person rather than to a desk drawer, packaging matters. The two packaging options are a printed kraft box or a rigid gift box. A kraft box suits most staff gifts and sets of two or three items; a rigid box suits client gifts and higher-value sets. A tote bag can also act as the outer packaging for an event kit, with the products inside. Gift box options are on the branded gift boxes page.

The process, step by step

  1. Request a quote with the products, the quantities, your logo, the delivery addresses (or the number of addresses) and the date you need everything.
  2. Receive the quote with prices for your quantity, the branding technique, packaging and delivery.
  3. Approve the digital proof for each product. It shows the position, size and colour of the logo. Nothing is produced until you approve it.
  4. Production takes 10 to 20 working days after proof approval, confirmed in the quote.
  5. Delivery to one address, each site or each recipient.

Common mistakes in bulk orders

Most problems with volume orders come from planning rather than production. The ones we see most often:

  • Ordering exactly the headcount. People join, sizes are swapped and a box gets lost. A few spare units cost less than a second small order later.
  • Choosing too many products. Each product needs its own minimum, proof and packing. Two or three well-chosen items are easier to manage than six.
  • A logo that does not suit every item. A detailed full-colour logo may work on a T-shirt but not on a pen. Ask for a simplified version for small marking areas.
  • Late address lists. If gifts go to individual homes, the address list is often the slowest part. Collect it while the proof is being prepared.
  • Forgetting the receiving end. A delivery of several large boxes to an office needs someone to sign for it and somewhere to put it.

Timing a volume order

Large orders need lead time, especially around busy dates such as Christmas, the start of the financial year or a company conference. Work back from the date you need the gifts: delivery time, then 10 to 20 working days of production, then a few days for the quote and the proof. Collecting sizes and addresses often takes longer than people expect, so start that part early.

Sustainability questions

If your company reports on purchasing, ask with the quote for material details, an estimated carbon footprint per product and documentation for certified products. The only certificate we name is the GRS of The Tenth House, checked per lot; certificates for other products are available on request. The Canvas Market Tote Bag, for example, is labelled "Recycled cotton" on its product sheet.

Bulk corporate gifts checklist

  • Delivery plan chosen: one address, each site or each recipient
  • Address list prepared, if sending to individuals
  • Packaging chosen: printed kraft box, rigid gift box or tote bag
  • Two or three quantities requested if the budget is not fixed
  • Delivery date realistic with 10 to 20 working days of production plus delivery

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum for bulk corporate gifts?

It depends on the product. In our catalogue, minimums range from 25 units for the Core Cotton T-Shirt to 250 for the Custom Simple Pen. Each product page shows its own minimum.

Is it cheaper per unit to order more?

The quote shows the unit price for the quantity you request. If you are unsure how many to order, ask for two or three quantities in the same request and compare.

Can you send bulk corporate gifts to each employee's home?

Yes. Send the list of names and addresses with your request, and each person receives their gift directly. The quote confirms the delivery cost per destination.

Can I mix sizes and colours in one order?

For clothing such as the Core Cotton T-Shirt, the minimum can be mixed across sizes and colours. Other products list their options on the product page.

How long does a bulk order take?

Production takes 10 to 20 working days after proof approval, plus delivery. The exact schedule is in the quote.
